Traditional designs which appear painted on the homes of the Ndebele people of South Africa have served as inspiration for the pattern on this rug.
This rug has been handwoven by a single master weaver. The entire process from spinning to weaving to knotting is done by hand with incredible care, dedication, and time.

Our carpets are made of 100% wool coming from the sturdy breed of Karakul sheep. The lanolin in the wool offers a natural dirt resistant barrier and the reversible carpets need very little care. Vacuum as needed.
