Simplified Trellis Table Runner

Handmade in Tamil Nadu, India

Crafted by the Lambadis of Tamil Nadu

A casual interpretation of the floral trellis patterns found in Indian temple designs, this linen table runner brings several of the artisans' different stitches together to create the pretty border design.

Runners are a stylish alternative to placemats, used as a layering piece over a tablecloth or decorating the center of your table!

It takes a several days to complete each piece. While the design and technique are the same, each artisan has her own way of applying each stitch, making each piece unique in its own special way.

The Lambadi artisans who hand crafted this design are part of a group of around 50 women. Each woman works out of the comfort of her own home, allowing her to maintain a work-life balance.

Sold individually or as a set of 2.
